HI, (11-25-05)
Emma is such a dream. She has made
me the proudest 52 year old first time mom!
She is so smart, so loving, and so trainable.
I can't wait to get our next one, you do an outstanding job! She
did very well at my parents yesterday, she was the center of attention
of course but loved everybody. She and our cat are working things
out, I think it will take a few more days. Thank you sooooo much!

Subject: Daisy
Hi ,
Sorry I haven’t gotten in touch with you sooner.
Just wanted to send you updated pictures of Daisy. She is such a
cutie! She can be a little wild still, especially when it’s time
to walk to school to pick up the girls! I think the whole neighborhood
knows Daisy. We had a problem with worms until about a month ago.
I have her on a monthly program now that the vet gave us. She is
99% potty trained. She only has an accident if she gets stuck upstairs.
She can run up the stairs, but is afraid to come down. Daisy is really
a loving family dog. She loves to cuddle with us. She has such
a cute personality. Anyway, enjoy the pics. Hope all is well
on your end.

Hi -
sorry for the long delay - we've had a busy couple
of weeks and it's very hard to get Reggie to slow down long enough to take
a good picture of him. I'm attaching a couple of them that are pretty
okay.
He's a big boy now - about 16 pounds of pure energy.
He's losing much of his puppy fur and is a darker golden honey underneath
- still looks pretty light cause of the very light ends, but I think he's
going to be a darker color. His eyes are an unusual golden color.
Everyone who meets him comments on how cute he is.
He's been lots of fun but oh! what a handful!
My mom left to go back home on Sunday so we tried gate-ing him into the
kitchen area (with access to the outside) on Monday. A gate across
the stairs was supposed to keep him from going upstatirs. But that
was our idea - not his. He CLIMBED the gate and got himself up.
But getting back down wasn't possible so there he stayed until we got home.
Fortunately, he's mostly house-trained (except for the excited piddle spray
that most young dogs seem to have).
He's also discovered his reflection in the sliding
glass door, the fireplace insert and the TV cabinet. He barks like
crazy at that strange dog he keeps seeing. Very funny! We also
have a cast iron rooster in front the fireplace - it was quite amusing
the other day when a toy got stuck over there - when he tried to get the
toy the rooster moved and scared him. He spent a LONG time barking
at the rooster and was too scared to go get the toy.
His greatest pleasure these days is stealing the
napkin off your lap when you sit down to a meal. He can move so fast
you don't know he's there until he's dashed out the doggie door with it.
The little rascal! He also loves ice cubes - our freezer has an ice
cube dispenser in the door and he comes running when he hears someone using
it. He'll sit right down and eat the ice cube.
It's amazing how individual dogs are.
Anyway - we are very grateful to you for breeding
such healthy and happy animals. I'd forgotten how fun puppies can
be (and how much work they are) - and he's definitely living up to the
cockapoo reputation.
Thanks again, Cheryl

We found Chantilly Lace on the internet
and called and talked to the breeder and set a time to see the puppy and
meet the fur family.
My daughter and I were so impressed with
their fur family - how friendy and loving they were. They surrounded
us and gave us kisses and licked our feet to get our attention. We
got to pet Hanna who is the mom of our puppy and she is so very sweet.
We instantly fell in love with our new baby who we now call Diamond.
Diamond is the perfect puppy for us. She is so loving and smart.
This is our first family dog and she is like the baby of the family.
She has enriched our family.
During our transition with our new baby, Karla
was available and willing to share her knowledge of dogs with us.
Her website also has a lot of information that we read before we brought
Diamond home. This made our transition much better as we had a ton of questions.
Thank you Karla and family!

Bubba is soooo darling - such a good
puppy. He's smart as a whip too. We just love him. He is perfect.
HE is exactly what we were hoping for. We have about ten big
steps to come up to our house, and at first, Bubba couldn't even get up
on one. Guess what - we've only had him a week, and he already comes
up all the steps by himself. HE gets non-stop attention, especially
when Ken is home, and when the kids come over. So, he's really
happy and content. We couldn't be happier with him.
You raise wonderful dogs. I would recommend
you to anyone. In fact, my daughter said she would like to get one
like Bubba from you one day. My son probably would too some day.
Right now, both are single and live alone, and love animals too much to
leave them alone all day long. Plus, they go on dates and do alot
of young-people things that keep them away from home alot.
One more thing. I think you have a very
nice husband. I could tell how kind he is by the way he let the dogs
crawl all over him. It was so cute. You can tell alot about
people by the way they interact with dogs. Thank him for helping
take such good care of Bubba for us. He's in his kennel taking a
nap right now. He watched me iron 12 of Ken's shirts. It seems as
long as he can see me, he's okay. It's when I leave the room that he starts
yelping.
When he stops yelping, I take him out, give him
a bite to eat, take him outside to go potty and run and play for about
ten or fifteen minutes, then we come back inside. I let him run around
the kitchen a bit, and then he goes back in the kennel. That's sort
of the pattern - trying to do it about every hour or hour and a half.
He seems so happy and content - you have nice puppies.
Happy Wednesday!

Thanks again so much for letting us come and see the puppy last Sunday.
Yesterday I finally came up with a name for her! I was listening to a CD
that a friend gave me for a retirement gift; it's a children's musical
called "The Seal Maiden." It's a Celtic legend and years ago we had seen
a movie about it called "The Secret of Roan Inish." The seal who becomes
a maiden's name is called "Silkie" so that is going to be the puppy's
name. I remember that her coat is so very silky, and I really wanted to
have an Irish connection with the name so "Silkie" it is!
Thanks again for taking such good care of her and agreeing to keep her
a little longer for us; not only will I be excited about going to Ireland
and seeing my mother-in-law, but I'll be excited about coming home and
seeing "Silkie." So all for now and take care. Talk to you later.
Diane

Update: 5/23/05
Hi. It has been a long time! Silkie is just great, no shortage of personality!!
She has charmed both Ian and I for all we're worth! She is very affectionate,
is my constant companion and when I leave things are not right in her world
until I'm home again. Besides being sweet and funny, she is very smart;
we started doggie obedience classes last week and she is so quick to learn
everything. She is also rather fond of the food rewards!!
So as you can see, we can't imagine life without our Silkie. She is
so active and sort of "naughty" at times which we blame on Ripley!!
Take care; good to hear from you,
Diane

We purchased our puppy, Mocha, in July
2004...Our experience was so awesome...KC sent us email pictures all along
the pregnancy and then the day the puppies were born we received a picture..She
doesn't raise puppies for just selling..she loves them each individually
and gives them attention as such...you can tell that these puppies are
loved and handled as our Mocha was all snuggly and lovey...clean, no fleas,
no health problems...
KC makes sure they are in tip top shape...I would
highly reccomend that if you want a healthy, well taken care of, loved
puppy that you contact this breeder...she is an awesome person and
will help you with any questions about puppy care that you may have...go
ahead, take that step, get one of the most loving puppies you could ever
hope to own.....

Hi there,
I still don't have a digital camera but if I get
around to taking some photos, I will be sure and send you some. However,
I have to tell you that Roxy has turned out to be a very cute puppy.
Almost 9 months old now and so she is starting to understand things better
and Nick and I are learning how to deal with a young dog better.
She is very playful and absolutely loves people, probably more than other
dogs.
She goes walking several miles with me two to
three times a week and we play ball in the back yard so she is fully of
energy and seems to be in good health. She sleeps on the bed with
us...How spoiled can one little doggie be???? I have a friend who
has a puppy and as soon as its a little older, then we will try to get
them to play together. I think Roxy would enjoy it ever so much.
When we have her out in the yard, Nick worries when she eats tree sticks
and plants. We can't get them away from her as she runs like the
wind with them....Its truly a silly scene.
I like hearing from you and what you have to say
regarding the dogs as you are the pro and I am just learning by trying
things out so please feel free to pass on any of your knowledge.
Love,
Suzie

I've enclosed photos taken a couple of weeks ago,
at about 3-1/2 months Buddy's age. The one with me was just after
walking around Lake Padden with him, probably several miles, and he was
just exhausted -- perhaps a little far for him. The one with Rod
shows a side view of his body and how big he's getting. At 3 months
he was 13 pounds at the vet's and he seems to be gaining about a pound
a week.
The good news:
- He's cute as a button, lots of fun, can be
very cuddly, and most people just fall for him. He looks very cocker
spaniel and most folks are surprised he's a cockapoo. The hair on
top of his head, ears, and on his legs is soft and curly, but the
rest of him is a little deeper shade and just wavy. His nose is a
little darker brown and his eyes are a pretty hazel colour.
- He's almost completely litter trained, having
very few accidents. Usually when he does it's 'cause he's got his
front legs in the box and head over it so he thinks he's in it, when the
business end of his body is outside it.
- He's very smart, we think, and has learned "off"
when he's jumping up on our legs, and "stay" at the door until we tell
him it's OK to come out.
Thanks for giving him such a good start in life.
Any comments you might have would be welcome.
Cheers from Rod & Buddy & me,
Sandra

We're having a great time -- Calvin is sooo smart! We are just
finishing up our first obedience training class and he's doing really well.
He loves to play in the backyard. He actually bumps a beach ball
around the yard with his head -- we call it playing soccer, and he thinks
it's a great sport. Here's a picture of Calvin after a recent hair
cut, I'll try to find the before picture and send it to you. I'll
have to go to the web-site and check out your new puppies! Take care,
Beth

Max is doing very well. He finished Basic Obedience class
at the King County Humane Society, but he's still got a ways to go before
I'll call him "obedient" LOL. We've let him graduate to sleeping
out of his crate, also. He's proven that he does know that he's supposed
to potty outside (no accidents in probably 3 weeks now!!!!). He and
the cat have settled in, mostly.
I have a great picture of the two of them curled up together on our
bed (I use it for blackmail on the cat, heehee). The cat will swear
to you that it's Photoshoped, but it's for real. As soon
as I get it uploaded from the camera, I will send it to you. We took
Max on a hike on Saturday (about 4 miles) and he did great! He loved
being in the woods and all the places and smells he got to sniff!
I'm sure that we will be doing more hikes!.
He's a great additon to our family, and we are really glad to have him.

Hello!!
I hope all is well with you and your family.
Rex is more than just wonderful. I will
take some new pictures and send them to you. He is a great dog.
From the get go, everyone has immediately noticed how relatively calm he
is for a pup, though he still has his moments, and his nickname for those
moments is Mr. Sassypoopypants. He's teething a little right now
but it's not over the top by any stretch. And he just wants to be
with us all the time. My husband Rudy is completely smittened by
this furball. Everyone is. We feel so lucky to have him.
He slept through the night since the first night
with us. Capt. Confidence - there he is, his first day with us and
he was acting like he had always been in our home. That same day
he came home with us, if I stopped moving for more than a minute, he was
curled up on my feet and he still does this. Or anyone else who happens
to be around. He just very comfortable with people.
He's pretty well housetrained by now. We're
going to start puppy school in July and I am very curious to see how he
does. He's quite good at coming when we call and sitting. He's
seems to be on the ball about all of that. He doesn't bark a whole lot.
I'm going to stop by the vet soon and get him weighed - he looks like he
has grown a ton lately.
Rex is an absolute joy. There are no exceptions
to the rule, he is everything we could have possible asked for from a poochie
and there have been no surprises. I've got to run now..I'm getting ready
to go on a trip but I just had to drop you a line. I'll send pictures
soon..
take care - joan

Hi ,
I just wanted to send an update for you on Tucker.
He has been neutered
(Dec) and is doing well. He has been a
great addition to our family. Thank
you for a great socialized puppy we are enjoying
his company very much.
I would like to send a picture of him if you want
to add it to your website.
His colors are great and he is just a
real cutie. We had him groomed in
Dec too, however the groomer did not do a very
good job. It was like he
wanted him to look like a poodle. So anyway
after a very bad hair cut we
have let it grow back and he looks much better
with the hair longer around
his face.
Anyway i just wanted to let you know how Tucker
is doing, if you would like
a photo let me know and i will e-mail one to
you.
Kindest regards
Tracy Dodd
(Tucker's mom)

Just wanted to send you a quick update.
"Max" is doing well. He's probably double his size now from when
he first got here. He's still potty training, but we're all just starting
to really get the hang of it. He sits when I say down and he goes
as many places as we can take him with us. He's a lot of fun!
Max was just neutered on Monday, but is doing well...he was the highlight
of the vet office. We don't need any little Max's running around.
:-) I need to go, but wanted to send a couple of pictures.
He's kind of difficult to take pics of because whenever I turn on the camera
we comes running.
Hope your having a good day.
Thank you,
Tammy, Dennis, Jacob, Emmalee & Max

Justice arrived safely at our house and
she seems to be settling in wonderfully. I have named her Kaylee (I decided
I liked that spelling better last night). Her “official name is going to
be Jayme’s Princess Kaylee May. The trip home was uneventful.
She actually slept most of the way! By the time we got home she had
plenty of energy to play.
I have full length sliding mirrors in my bedroom
and for the longest time she was sure there was another dog to play with.
I'm still not sure she has it figured out. It was quite funny to
watch her run in circles and then lunge at the mirror! My brother
and I took advantage of the nice weather and played with her outside also.
She has learned to chase us when we call her name and really likes her
Kong tug toy.
I have started using a collar and leash on her
part of the time that she’s out side (she already figured out that dogs
chase cats…) and she seems to not be too concerned about having something
around her neck. She has only had one accident so far and that was
my fault because I didn't keep her out long enough after she went pee,
so a few minutes after we brought her in the house, she did the other thing.
Last night she woke me up 5 times, but each time
I took her out, she went potty, and then she was quiet until she had to
go again (after I put her cage on my bed, so she could sleep with me).
Right now she is laying in her bed with her head on her teddy. She
is just sooooooo adorable!
Thanks again!

It has been a long long time since I
have sent you an email and I wanted to update you on Duncan (tan and black
phantom male from Ripley and Molly's litter January 24th 2007) We
are now stationed in New Mexico due to diversion orders my husband recieved
in the middle of last summer. Duncan is doing sooooo great!
He has a little sister (a shih tzu named Stella)
and a big brother (a tabby cat named Monkey). He loves them both
and loves to tug on the rope with Stella and wrestle with Monkey.
He has a big dirty backyard that he loves to dig in (we will be planting
some grass in February) and TONS of toys out there to run around with.
And he has taught Stella the glory of digging
for 'treasure' in the dirt! They come up with some strange things,
just recently a pine cone of all things!!!! Being that we are in
the desert I have no idea where it came from! Anyways, I am including
some pictures for you.
Last summer he went with me on the Family Camping
Trip of '07 and LOVED it. He got to swim in his little life jacket
and pretend to save us from drowning and run around and get dirty from
top to bottom! Now that my husband is home he loves to go for
rides in his truck with him and do errands! His favorite errand is
Petsmart for a new toy! Anyways, I could go on and on about how much
love Duncan has brought into our home and family! I hope all is well
in WA, boy do I miss my home state! *HUGS*
